It doesn’t get much simpler than this. One of our favorite dogs (and his owners) moved to West Seattle. Rather than say goodbye to a beloved furry friend, we decided to expand our service area once again!

Sniff Seattle Dog Walkers is walking dogs in West Seattle’s North Admiral, Alki and Genesee neighborhoods.

Cover a whole new territory because of one dog? Sounds kinda crazy, right? Well, we love our dogs and love making their owners happy. It’s just what we do.

If this kind of dedication to customer service appeals to you (and you’re looking for dog walking or other pet care services), give us a call sometime.

Your Dog Walking Dollar: Know What You’re Getting For Your Money

16 Aug

Why overpay and be underserved? (Photo by Greg Valentine/Sniff Seattle)

Let’s be clear. Not all dog walking and pet sitting services do things the same way. So when you see a price, the question to ask is: “What am I getting for my money?”

Did you know that some of the biggest dog walking companies in town won’t take the time to clean up a mess if your dog has accident before they arrive for their visit? Some of those same big companies are also notoriously late for their appointments.

Can you guess what happens when a dog walker shows up an hour and a half late? Dogs have routines and can’t “hold it” forever. So, accident. An accident the walker who caused it won’t even clean up!

That’s just not right.

At Sniff Seattle, included with our on-time dog walking and pet sitting visits is a promise to tidy up if your dog or cat has an accident before we get there. Hey, accidents do happen. And if you need us to, we’ll also feed them, refresh their water, even administer medication — all of this FREE, at no extra charge!

Bottom-line, know what you’re paying for. And beware of what you’re not getting for your money.

Just so you know, this is not us saying this. We’re simply paraphrasing what some of our new clients tell us about their pet care nightmares. We’re sorry you had to go through such an ordeal. And happy to serve you!

Sniff Seattle. Exceptional, professional, family-style service at a very affordable rate.

Wanna put a "meow" in the mix? Check out Catapalooza. (Sukanto Debnath/Flickr)

To my fellow Seattleites, if you’ve been thinking about adding a cat to your family, you couldn’t pick a better weekend than this one to do it. It’s the Seattle Humane Society’s Catapalooza.

It’s a celebration of all things cat, promises the humane society. It’s a major cat adoption event. They bring together 10 local rescue groups for this one. So there will be lots of beautiful cats looking for new homes.

And they have a good time at Catapalooza. Lots of prize giveaways and fun stuff for the kids to do.

It’s happening today and tomorrow (8/13-8/14) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Seattle Humane Society’s campus in Bellevue (13212 SE Eastgate Way).

Here’s more info about Catapalooza.

Look how much fun he's having! We're a little jealous, lol (Photo from YouTube)

I think the most amazing thing is…that he’s a natural! This Bulldog skimboards, snowboards and skates.

I’ve tried all of those and always end up on my butt.

Watch and enjoy…

Well, marriage might be the other time. I mean, not to shoot holes in Mordecai’s quote. I get where he’s goin’ with this.

Plus, with a name like “Mordecai Wyatt,” I’m gonna assume he was some Old West badass. So I’m with ya, Mordecai!
