The Furry 5K Is Sunday!

It’s one of our favorite events of the year! We hope to see all of our friends in the Seattle-Bellevue area this Sunday (6/9) at Seward Park for the 14th Annual Furry 5K.

We have LOTS of stuff planned. So come by the Sniff Seattle tent near the finish line at the pet expo. You could win Kindle Fire! How fun is that?

The pet expo begins before the fun run and walk at 8:15 am. Race time is 10:00 am. And things wrap up around 1:00 pm. And it’s all to benefit the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help the Animals Fund.

Let’s Meet At Sunday’s Furry 5K

Thousands of people and their pooches running and walking the race course. All of them helping a fantastic cause. Don’t miss the Furry 5K this Sunday at Seward park beginning at 10:00 am!

It’s the 13th year for this super-fun event, which benefits the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help the Animals Fund.

‘Furry 5K’ Helps Seattle Animal Shelter Help The Animals

Dogs and people running together, helping a great cause. That’s what the Furry 5K on Sunday, June 10 at 10:00 am at Seward Park is all about.

Every year in Seattle, thousands of pet lovers gather for this wonderful event. And many of those people participate in the 5K race, running or walking with their dog and raising money for the Seattle Animal Shelter’s Help the Animals Fund.

Try and imagine the vet bill for 7,000 strays and you’ll understand right away why the Seattle Animal Shelter holds this race. Seven thousand strays every year, many who arrive at the shelter sick, injured or abused.

So, raising the money is crucial. And anyone reading this can help. You can donate HERE!

If you want to run or walk in the race, pre-registration is $20 without the tee shirt and $25 with the tee shirt. To register on the day of the race, it’s $30.

We’ll be at the event ourselves. We hope you’ll stop by the Sniff Seattle tent and help us raise money for the Help the Animals Fund.
