So, as you can see from the photo, Bonesy definitely has a favorite part of the walk! And, hey, we don’t fault him one bit for that.
When you’ve been around as long as Bonesy, you’ve earned the right to relax.

“My husband and I are either going to buy a dog or have a child. We can’t decide whether to ruin our carpets or ruin our lives.” ~ Rita Rudner
That’s a joke, of course. And it may or may not ring true for you. If you live in Seattle, you have to wonder. There are 153,000 dogs here. Just 107,000 kids.
Guess that makes it a pretty good place to be a dog walker! Or a carpet cleaner.

Now, that’s a happy dog!
Just had to share this pic with you. It was taken by Eve, one of our exceptional Sniff Seattle team members, at Boeing Creek Park in Shoreline.
This photo really captures the essence of our Sniff Seattle Park Hikes — a service we off that is a client fave.
Simply put, some dogs need a little more adventure. And we’ve got it for them! Sniff Seattle Park Hikes are the answer for the dog that needs to stay out longer, do more, and go further.
We pick up your pup and take ’em to the park for an hour of on-leash hiking and play through the luscious greenery of one of Seattle’s many world-class parks — such as Discovery Park, Magnuson Park, Woodland Park, Volunteer Park, Golden Gardens and Green Lake.
Ahhh. The Great Outdoors! When your pup needs more than a walk, call us and we’ll take them on an adventure!

It’s Spring again. For most of us, that is. For Sam, the adorable Yellow Labrador puppy in the photo above, it’s his first Spring.
Just like the flower beds and trees around him, Sam is blooming. This little cutie’s blossoming into the dog he will become. And we love being part of that.
Sam is one of the many pups in the Seattle area taking advantage of Sniff Seattle’s Puppy Out Relief.
Puppy Out Relief is a service we individually create to meet the particular needs of each of our puppy clients. The plan takes care of the puppy’s crucial potty needs, while teaching basic potty-training and building their bathroom routine. Puppy Out Relief could include a 30-minute walk and potty break in the morning, and a 15-minute playtime and potty break in the afternoon. And maybe third 15-minute visit.
Like I said, we work with you to create the perfect plan for your pup!
I should also say that while Puppy Out Relief is designed for younger dogs, it’s also great for senior dogs. Older dogs typically have weaker control and need to potty more often.
Puppy Out Relief. It’s part of the Sniff Seattle “snifference!”

St. Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland (or something like that). How do you think he managed that? Must’ve had some help of the canine variety, we’re thinkin’!
Quincy aka “The Q Man” agrees. Here he is celebrating “St. Patty’s Dog” last weekend.

“A new dog never replaces an old dog, it merely expands the heart.” ~ Erica Jong
That’s a wonderful quote. So what do you think? Maybe it’s time to check out some of your local animal shelters and rescues.
It can be pretty easy. Many shelters and rescues post photos online. So, you’ll be able to see the loving companions they have.
If you’re like me, you won’t be able to make your decision until you head down there in person. It’s like in Harry Potter when they say: “The wand chooses the wizard.” Many times, the dog chooses us!

Kahlo is a Pit Bull who was rescued from Miami (where the breed is against the law). Now, she lives happily in the Capitol Hill area in Seattle.
And we LOVE walking this sweetie! Sniff Seattle doesn’t breed discriminate.
